HMM launches Tianjin Sea-rail combined transportation service



South Korea-based ocean carrier HMM announced the opening of Tianjin sea-rail combined transportation services.

The new service will provide more convenient and secure logistics solutions to the clients in several Chinese inland provinces including Hebei, Shanxi, Ningxia, and Jilin. 

HMM said a multimodal bill of lading can be issued, the export business can use the inland point as the place of receipt, and the import business can use the inland point as the delivery place.

The service features inland stations, as well as full freight quotations and a priority shipping space guarantee.
