Which ports in Sri Lanka does Marine One operate in?
Marine One provides comprehensive ship agency, logistics, and supply services across all major Sri Lankan ports: Colombo, Galle, Hambantota, and Trincomalee. We also extensively service vessels at anchorages and Off Port Limits (OPL), particularly for crew changes, spares delivery, and security embarkation.
Are your services available 24/7?
Yes. The maritime industry never sleeps, and neither do we. Our operations desk and emergency response teams are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to manage vessel ETAs, sudden schedule changes, and technical emergencies.
Do you handle specialized port agency for bulk carriers?
Absolutely. We are a dedicated port agent for bulk carriers, ensuring fast turnarounds for vessels loading or discharging coal, grain, cement, or minerals. We manage port formalities, cargo operations, hold cleaning, and all necessary vessel supplies to minimize costly idle time.
Crew Change & Ship Spares
How do you handle crew changes and repatriations?
We offer end-to-end crew logistics. This includes processing "Ok To Board" (OTB) authorizations, immigration clearances, airport meet-and-greets, secure hotel accommodations, and direct-to-deck transfers. We also handle urgent medical sign-offs and repatriations.
Can you deliver urgent ship spares to a vessel at OPL?
Yes. Marine One provides fast-track "Ship in Transit" customs clearance for marine spares. Whether the parts arrive via air or sea freight, we handle the customs brokerage, secure warehousing, and last-mile deck delivery using our dedicated supply boats for vessels at berth, anchorage, or OPL.
Technical Repairs, Hull Cleaning & Bunkers
What happens if our vessel experiences a blackout or mechanical failure?
Marine One provides rapid-response ship repair services. We can mobilize class-approved riding squads and marine electricians within hours to resolve total vessel blackouts, repair Power Management Systems (PMS), and conduct emergency mechanical or steel voyage repairs.
Do you offer underwater hull cleaning without dry-docking?
Yes. We deploy certified commercial diving teams for in-water services (IWS). Our services include eco-friendly underwater hull cleaning, Rupert Scale 'A' propeller polishing, and class-approved CCTV inspections—all executed concurrently with your port operations to avoid delays.
What types of bunker fuels and lubricants do you supply?
We coordinate physical bunker deliveries for VLSFO (Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil), LSMGO, IFO 380, and HSFO (currently available at Trincomalee). We also supply a full range of marine lube oils from major global brands and facilitate independent bunker surveys and sampling.
Maritime Security & Naval Fleet Support
Is Marine One certified to provide armed maritime security (PMSC)?
Yes. Marine One is an ISO 28007-1:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 certified Private Maritime Security Company (PMSC) and a proud BIMCO member. We provide highly trained, certified armed escorts for commercial vessels transiting High-Risk Areas (HRA) like the Gulf of Aden. We facilitate seamless, legal embarkation and disembarkation of guards and weapons via Sri Lankan ports (such as Galle OPL).
Do you provide husbandry and supply services for visiting foreign naval fleets?
Yes, Marine One is highly experienced in military defense logistics. As an IMPA and ISSA certified ship chandler, we supply premium fresh/dry provisions, LSSA equipment, and IMPA-coded technical stores to visiting naval vessels.
What shore-based support do you offer for naval crews on diplomatic visits?
Beyond physical ship supplies, we manage comprehensive crew welfare and husbandry. This includes securing diplomatic clearances, arranging VIP transport, providing secure hotel accommodations, and sourcing local necessities like pre-activated SIM cards and portable internet routers for visiting military personnel.
